Officially 21...

I think the title's enough. Just wanted an excuse to sing Happy Birthday to myself. *winks* And for those who are interested, I had a birthday celebration with my sister and my cousin (both of whom had birthdays yesterday; yes, I know; we have a lot of August birthdays), and we had epic fun eating hot dogs and ice cream and BBQ chips and then going swimming in the river! Seriously, guys, pools have nothing on a freshwater river!

Hope everyone's having a great day!

God bless!
P.S. Did everyone see the EXTENDED EDITION scene for The Desolation of Smaug?? Epic in all respects! It's in MIRKWOOD, folks! If you haven't seen it yet, LINK. Just sayin'.

  1. Does this mean there is going to be extended versions, just like for Lord of the Rings?! Oops, we already got the regular ones. I did not even think about this; I guess because the Hobbit is one book and they made it as three I wrongly assumed that there could not be more.

  3. Happy Birthday, Kiri! Notice I didn't hack your blog this year... like you did on my birthday. :)

  4. Birthday happy you to! (or something like that.)

Lots of epic in that video. I can't wait to get the extended edition. Simply can't wait. (Honestly, I was a bit miffed about the lack of the river only in retrospect. At the time, I was too busy being excited about Legolas ... But I'm very glad that they added it back in.)

  7. Happy birthday to my dearest Kiri!!!! (Except I believe I'm a day late. D: I'm out of town and not up to date on the blogging sphere. All the shame!)

21 is like a milestone. I think it's a pretty great age! I hope your birthday was as festive and fun as a hobbit party (but maybe with less disappearing people) and your 21st year will be a blesses one!

EEEEEE!!!! I have not seen that extended scene. I wanted that scene in the movie and look!! <3 <3 <3
