Happy November!

Wow! I feel like I haven't been on blogger in forever! *pulls up a chair and a mug of pumpkin spice coffee* How have you all been? I've missed you lovely peoples!

Wait... what? I didn't tell you? Yeah, I drink coffee now. Not black coffee straight out of the pot, mind you. No, that fancy, New-England style stuff that probably has more creamer and milk and sugar than coffee.

Never in a million years would I think that I would be drinking coffee. But that's what college does to a body. And I'm finding, in a very strange way, I'm enjoying it.

I don't have much time to stop and chat, but I did want to assure you all that I am still very much alive. College is busy, but I am learning a lot. Plus, there's some brief moments to have fun and breathe, which is nice. I enjoy those moments. And then Thanksgiving break is only two weeks and two days away. *glorious sigh*

I desperately wish I could be stuck in the middle of NaNo with you all. Please feel free to drop me a comment below - let me know how your crazy month of writing is going, or what November has in store for you, or what the best way to drink coffee is!

God bless!

  1. I was just telling one of my sisters the other day that you were one of my NaNo buddies the first year I did it (2012) and that now you're in college and I miss having you around... :)
What's up with my NaNo novel? Well, I just finished it! Right before midnight and since I don't write on Sunday's I started a day late which means it only took my five days this time around... :) I'm hoping my brain will let me continue on with the sequel because I'm not ready for the NaNo fun to be done.
Have fun with college and coffee!

  2. I've missed your blog posts - they are always so nice to see on my blogger dashboard! School is keeping me busy as well and coffee is my happy place these chilly fall days. I never drink it straight black though funny thing is I'm slowly putting less and less creamer in it and loving it.
Must come from drink it for so long?
Anyway, I haven't been able to do Nano this year which is a little saddening since it helped in getting my first story done two years ago, but oh well... I'll write as much as I am able.
Lovely seeing something from you again!
    Blessings,
    Kara

  3. Yay coffee!! It's amazing stuff. I'm sort of doing NaNo ... but life happens, so I'm just slowly plugging along. =)

  4. I understand what you mean. It's hard to focus on writing when there's so much else to do around this time of year. :) This is my first year doing NaNo, and while I'm not getting as much done as I would LIKE, I am getting SOME stuff done. :)
Thanks for letting us know you're still alive! :D

  5. If college makes you drink coffee you should not go. You should do what I do. Move into an Author's house and make her write and eat all her food. That is my job. And since it is so easy I have a lot of time left to eat cookies.
